About this site and purpose

This site will be used to collect my work documents. These are only useful for me but if they can help somebody else in the world I'll be very happy.

The image used to ilustrate this site is a cathedral of the capital of my province (Córdoba, Argentina). I pick this image because this city is called "La Docta" because there was the first law university of Latin America. I'm from Río Cuarto, a small city in the south of Córdoba, here you can see some pictures about my city (Río Cuarto).

Here I will add some posts about things that I have worked. Most of them (to be honest all of them) are only to my exclusive use, to remember how I did something or something like that but of course if any of these posts is useful to somebody else I will very happy but again the main goal is to write my own recipes to remember what I did and how I did.

Mea CheatSheets

Here are cheatsheets that I've used when write code.

  • When child I learn to use mysql database command line, but of course when I started to be a professional developer I've migrated everything to postgresql. By some reason my brain still remember the mysql commands but not the psql so I found useful the following cheatsheet.

    psql commands equivalents to mysql
  • We used to use pg-extra commands gem to inspect our databases to see how they are working, this gem provides very useful commands to inspect the database, here is a cheatsheet about these commands

    Heroku Postgres extras
  • Sometimes I forget how to rename or the correct that migration requires, here is a cheatsheets for that

    Rails 3 migrations
  • Commands to use in redis-cli command line. I have to check this all the time.

    Redis commands
  • I don't have problems with git commands, but here is a cheatsheet that could need some day.
